The company is in the business of edible meat and food products. They have a variety of products that range from raw chicken meat and pork meat to sausages, RTE pre-cooked chilled and frozen meals. They are seeking for food packaging technologies to contain food in a cost effective way that maintains food safety and minimizes impact to the environment. These requirements are driven by the current consumer, industry and market trends. Furthermore, as products become more alike in the competitive market, the company is seeking for packaging innovation to be a differentiating factor for their products to be distinctive.


Technical Specifications

The company is aware that biodegradable / smart / intelligent packaging is not commonly used by food producers and manufacturers due to its higher cost as compared to conventional packaging.
