Manager, Strategy, Marketing & Communications

The Manager, Strategy, Marketing & Communications is responsible for implementing IPI’s marketing and communications plan with a key focus on content creation and event management. He/she will write, edit and publish content in print and digital platforms. He/she will oversee IPI’s calendar of events, working closely with internal and external stakeholders to plan, promote, and execute both small and large-scale events. 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Write, edit and publish content for print and digital platforms, e.g. website, electronic direct mail, social media, newsletter, publications etc
  • Lead and closely manage the editing, design and production of marketing collaterals and ensure alignment with brand guidelines.
  • Measure, report and review the results of all executed efforts
  • Plan, organise, manage and execute both small- and large-scale events, exhibitions, seminars, webinars and workshops etc
  • Own and develop the IPI’s events calendar
  • Review and manage third-party event partnership requests and coordinate with partners to ensure that deliverables are met
  • Plan, develop and implement initiatives, events and tools that promote employee engagement
  • Develop, maintain and utilise an intranet system as a tool to actively inform and engage internal stakeholders

Pre-requisites:

  • Degree in Marketing or Communications-related field
  • 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in corporate/marketing/digital communications and event management
  • Experience with marketing automation and CRM tools preferred
  • Working knowledge in photo and/or video editing applications (e.g. Adobe Photoshop) preferred
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Good interpersonal and presentation skills
  • Highly organised with strong project management skills
  • Resourceful, pro-active and meticulous
  • Independent self-starter who is able to work well with highly technical cross-disciplinary teams in a dynamic environment
  • Experience or interest in technology-related business is advantageous
  • Proficiency in Chinese language is a plus
