Singapore-France Joint Innovation Call - Information & Networking Seminar


Are you keen to co-innovate and develop a new product or application with strong market potential?

The Singapore-France Joint Innovation Call offers Singapore companies the opportunity to collaborate on joint innovation projects with French companies. We are looking for proposals on joint innovation projects from any sector, with a focus on medical technology, clean technology, and advanced manufacturing.

Join our information and networking event on Wednesday, 12 February 2020 to find out how you can participate, the public funding available for your business, and how you can find project partners. Companies from Singapore and France are welcome to attend.

About the Speakers

Marc Abensour, Ambassador of France to Singapore 

Marc Abensour was appointed Ambassador of France to Singapore in December 2016. Before this posting, he served in several French diplomatic missions, including the Representation of France at the Council of the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO), the Embassies of France in Beijing and in the United States. His professional experience mainly covers Asian Affairs and politico-military issues. 

Marianne Wlassewitch, Area Manager, Bpifrance

Marianne Wlassewitch is Bpifrance Area Manager for ASEAN, based in Singapore since January 2017. She is responsible for representing all business lines of Bpifrance – French Public Investment Bank & Export Credit Agency in South-East Asia: financing, innovation, private equity, funds of funds and export finance activities. 

Lim Ming Khai, Deputy Director, IPI

Ming Khai is responsible for developing platforms to promote collaborations between technology seekers and technology providers through open innovation. He seeks partnerships with innovation networks and international marketplaces to expand IPI’s network.

Jonathan Lim, Director of Global Innovation Network Division, Enterprise Singapore

Jonathan Lim’s role at Enterprise Singapore is to strengthen linkages and partnerships with leading global innovation hubs around the world. He was previously with the Ministry of Education, where he was instrumental in the start-up of the Singapore Institute of Technology.

Victor Mills, CEO, Singapore International Chamber of Commerce (SICC)

Victor Mills is Chief Executive of Singapore International Chamber of Commerce. It is the country’s longest-serving voluntary business association and champions collaborative innovation among other areas. Mr Mills previously had a 30-year career in financial services and held senior business leadership and regional sales roles. 


This event is jointly organised with IPI, Bpifrance, French Chamber Singapore, Google Developers and the Singapore International Chamber of Commerce (SICC).
