The Eureka Singapore-Canada Bilateral Call, jointly administered by Enterprise Singapore and Global Affairs Canada's Trade Commissioner Service and National Research Council of Canada (NRC), aims to support ambitious cross-border R&D projects between Singapore and Canadian companies.

This programme is designed for forward-thinking companies looking to develop ready-to-market solutions, technology-based services, or methods with strong commercial potential. Through this partnership with NRC’s Industrial Research Assistance Program (NRC-IRAP), participating companies can access valuable support to drive their innovation journey.

To apply for this call, interested Singapore entities will need to meet the following eligibility criteria:

• Be a business entity that is registered and operating in Singapore.
• Have ≥ 30% of its ordinary shares held directly or indirectly by Singapore Citizens and/or Singapore Permanent Residents.
• Be in a financially viable position to start and complete the project.

Applications for the Eureka Singapore-Canada Bilateral Call are open from 1 May 2025 to 1 September 2025.

To submit an application, both Singapore companies and their foreign partner(s) have to submit a joint application through the Eureka application portal.

In addition, Singapore companies must also complete the following procedures:

1. Visit the Business Grants Portal website
2. Apply for "EDG (Co-Innovation Programme)"
3. Complete the application form and submit accordingly. Please ensure you have selected the correct CIP Programme in your application.

Universities, institutes of higher learning and research institutes can only be funded as a subcontractor or consultant for another partner. You may also check out some of the opportunities on the IPI Online Marketplace and/ or search for potential partners on the b2match page.

Projects that do not involve any co-development or R&D cooperation. Testing and validation of technologies without any co-development would also not be eligible.
