IPI co-organised the Arm Mbed Cloud Training Workshop with Arm on 22 November 2017. The Arm Mbed Cloud is a complete chip-to-cloud solution, built for the Internet of Things (IoT). Built to manage the complexity of an embedded software ecosystem and connectivity, Mbed Cloud provides end-to-end security and supports various data communication to the cloud.

At the workshop, Arm’s team introduced its Mbed Cloud solution and provided a demonstration of how it worked. One of the key highlights for the workshop participants was the hands-on experience with Mbed Cloud and Mbed OS.

“Today’s enterprises are under pressure to unlock the value in the Internet of Things. Our mission is to help businesses understand that device management can be simple, secure and scalable. We enable them to create, deploy and manage a wide range of devices securely across their lifetime. We are happy to have this opportunity to meet with many enthusiastic participants from IPI’s network and share with them our vision of a connected future,” said Suzie Nien, Director of Sales, IoT Services Group, Arm, Taiwan.

“This is the first training workshop that we have rolled out as part of the HardwareSG Initiative by IPI and SPRING Singapore. We look forward to building a connected community amongst Singapore’s hardware startups, manufacturers and investors to better equip them with the knowledge and resources to accelerate product development,” said Sim Kung Kiat, Deputy Director, IPI.

HardwareSG is a ground-up initiative to aggregate resources in the hardware startup ecosystem, and to create opportunities for collaborations. For more information, please visit https://www.hardwaresg.com/
