IPI played host to a delegation of Austrian representatives from the Erber group, academia, government, industry and media on 27 February 2018. Led by Dr Erich Erber, Chairman of Supervisory Board, Erber AG and EDB Singapore Economic Ambassador to Austria, the delegates were in Singapore to understand the local biotech landscape and explore potential collaboration opportunities with Singapore biotech enterprises. The Erber group comprises a group of companies in the field of food and feed safety.
Dr Sze Tiam Lin, Senior Director of IPI, welcomed the group and gave a short introduction of Singapore’s innovation ecosystem and IPI’s role in helping enterprises to grow in technological capabilities through innovation partnerships. IPI also invited XL Lin, founder and CEO of VacciXcell, a bioprocessing equipment manufacturer and CDMO service provider and Robin Low, CEO of Areteon Pte Ltd, a veterinary therapeutics company, to present their respective core technologies to the delegation.
