IPI and Haier has maintained a strong partnership since both parties first connected at TechInnovation 2015. Over the years, the IPI team has worked closely with Haier to explore potential research collaborations with its international network of technology partners.

In recognition of IPI’s contribution as one of Haier’s global innovation partners, Haier Singapore Innovation Center Deputy General Manager Stacey Wang and Director Dr Jiang Jing presented a Certificate of Appreciation to IPI CEO Wong Lup Wai on 15 January 2021.

“Industry corporate partners play an important part in the innovation ecosystem as they open new technology collaboration opportunities for SMEs and start-ups in Singapore. We are grateful to the Haier management team for this recognition and our ongoing partnership. We look forward to co-creating more fruitful open innovation collaborations in the years to come,” said Wong.

An advocate of open innovation, the leading home appliance and smart home solutions provider established the Haier Open Partnership Ecosystem (HOPE) a service platform set up to accelerate product innovation through collaboration with the broader innovation community since 2009.
