In today’s highly competitive and dynamic marketplace, SMEs face increasing pressures to re-invent the way they do business in order to stay ahead of the game. One of the ways that SMEs can overcome its hurdles is to adopt new technologies through open innovation. Open innovation, crowdsourcing and co-creation unlocks new opportunities for SMEs to solicit ideas and services, gain access to talents and technologies, form collaborative partnerships and enter new markets.
Bringing the best innovators under one roof
TechInnovation 2015 is the premier technology marketplace in Asia organised by IPI Singapore for enterprises to discover innovative technologies, connect with new partners and collaborate to bring new ideas and opportunities to market.
The two-day event will feature a unique and open platform for corporations to crowdsource, engage and seek external partnerships and opportunities to accelerate their growth in the spirit of Open Innovation. Over 18 speakers representing global and major corporations from Asia, Europe and North America will be presenting their innovation needs and seeking SMEs and R&D organisations to co-create and co-develop new products and services.
Participants can learn from the best innovators through plenary sessions helmed by some of the foremost thought leaders and innovation practitioners. In addition, over enabling 250 technologies from 15 countries will be showcased through exhibition and fast-paced technology pitches.
Leveraging on TechInnovation to grow your business
Past delegates have also benefitted from active technology matchings and one-to-one meetings facilitated by IPI during TechInnovation, which have contributed to fruitful collaborations and maximised commercialisation opportunities. For instance, V3 Teletech, a home-grown SME, was introduced to the Dutch innovation powerhouse, TNO at TechInnovation 2013. The introduction translated into a successful co-creation of V3 Teletech’s first cloud robotics solution for surveillance. Read more about the success story here.
