BIOGRAPHY

Howard is the cofounder of Enverse, a data analytics company focusing on providing actionable insights for the energy and manufacturing industry. As the cofounder of a startup, Howard is actively involved activities relating to customer development, product development, and software engineering. He has experience in evaluating the business problem of the client and customise a best-fit and applicable engineering solution to meet their needs.

He has 10 years of experience in the energy, software automation, system integration, and data analytics space. Throughout the 10 years of his career in the energy sector, he has worked in the entire energy supply chain from the business perspective, and the energy delivery from the engineering perspective. He has experience building technologies to support projects for power generation, power distribution, and power consumption. Coming from a system integrator background, he is capable of advising customers on end-to-end system architecture from conceptual level to engineering level.

Energy/Industrial 4.0 Data Analytics Platform

To address needs in the energy industry, Howard and his team engineered an industrial agnostic data analytics platform that is capable of integrating with any custom-build algorithm. He guided the system architecture design, product design, business case development, engineering use-case development, and feature development.

In the course of this technology development works, the team created customized algorithms for specific use case application in the energy industry. Types of algorithms developed includes forecasting and anomalous data detection.

Petronas Floating Liquified Natural Gas Satu

During his career in the energy industry, Howard was the lead engineer / project manager of the world’s first floating liquified natural gas vessel.

The project involves the setup of a full scale power management system with 100 MW gas turbine generator, coupled with load shedding, volt-var control, load balancing, supervisory control and data acquisition (SCADA), islanded power system control and grid connected power system control.

The scope of this project leads to significant levels of system integration awareness and ability.
