A Singapore-based company is seeking means to make use of their GPS data to optimise operational efficiency, e.g. vehicle route for deployment of vehicle to drivers, goods delivery pick-up / drop-off and other use cases.
Each of the vehicles is equipped with an on-board GPS hardware linked to the vehicle’s on-board diagnostic (OBD) system. The GPS tracks and records vehicle position data since 2014 and the data are kept for 6 years. The data can be extracted into Excel format.
The company is open for various forms of collaboration with commercial entities or research institutes, and is able to contribute by supporting the pilot test of the proposed solution with their vehicles and driver resources, providing raw GPS data, co-fund the developmental activities (to be discussed), and co-develop a solution tailored to their needs stated under Technology Specification.
