This People Counter is a compact wireless Pyroelectricity Infra-Red (PIR) sensor. Recommended to be installed on the ceiling, the device counts the number of people passing below it. With the battery-operated and wireless feature, there is no need to do any cabling. Application including triggering cleaning when the number of people detected using the toilet exceeds a threshold. It allows you to reduce the movement of cleaners, and only do the cleaning when certain usage is achieved.
Powered by a lithium battery, the battery autonomy of the device is determined by the number of detected motion (e.g. people passing by) and the interval reporting of messages. In most cases, it can last anywhere between 12 months to 18 months. The people counter, by default, sends the count every 10 minutes using Sigfox network. Battery level information is also sent to allow for planned battery replacement.
We’re looking for companies that would like to integrate this sensor with their other solutions to form a complete solution for meeting room management or smart toilet cleaning management.
We’re also looking for companies who would like to improve this solution to include directional detection of movement.

We encourage the usage of this People Counter device in public facilities such as public toilets and public transports. However, it can also be used anywhere else to count the in/out frequency of people. For example, public facilities, corridors, meeting rooms, schools’ washrooms, supermarket entrance, hawker centers, F&B, etc.
