TECHNOLOGY OVERVIEW

During an epidemic or pandemic outbreak (SARS, COVID-19), temperature checks are usually carried out as a precautionary measure before allowing any one to enter a public facility or office building.  Inevitably, long queues will be formed, especially during peak hours or when common thermometers are limited.

 

This wearable temperature badge overcomes the above situation by allowing users to self-administer their own temperature and display it prominently for ease of verification.  The technology comes with flashing LEDs to indicate temperature status and a reminder alert to prompt users to retake their temperature. Advanced features such as sending temperature taken to user’s mobile phone can be added.
