National Healthcare Group Open Innovation Challenge in Healthcare

Background / Description

INTRODUCTION
The Open Innovation Challenge is jointly organized by National Healthcare Group (NHG) and Enterprise Singapore (ESG). The objective is to bring together Companies and Clinicians to co-develop products and services to address real world clinical needs.

We are looking for solutions to solve the diverse challenges in NHG institutions.

Topics covered include:

  • Active aging
  • Chronic disease management
  • Diagnostics and imaging
  • Medical therapies and surgical technologies
  • Nursing
  • Rehab and Long-term care
  • Ops and Productivity

Clinicians from various NHG institutions bring to the table their clinical needs, anonymized clinical data, pilot trials, healthcare expertise, etc while Companies offer their technical expertise, prototyping, viable business models, etc to co-develop relevant, scalable healthcare solutions, resulting in a win-win for both NHG institutions and Companies.

ESG works with NHG Centre for Medical Technologies and Innovations (CMTi) to understand the business propositions and provide funding support for local SMEs who are willing to take up the challenge statements.
