INVITATION TO PUB’S GRANT CALL INFORMATION SESSION ON 12 NOV 2018
PUB, Singapore’s National Water Agency, has launched an Open Requests for Proposals (RFPs) on 1 Nov 2018 under the Competitive Research Programme (Water) to invite researchers and industries to develop solutions that can challenge the state-of-the-art water technologies or to translate promising technologies to commercialisation in order to improve the effectiveness of the current processes and operations.
The RFP focuses on 2 areas. The first focus area challenges researchers to think out-of-the-box against the conventional processes. It targets to support proof-of-concept study at bench scale on new approaches across the water loop, and offers a bottom-up avenue for research community to surface new technology domains that might have fallen outside PUB’s technology roadmaps. Meanwhile, the second focus area targets to support the translation or scale-up of promising technologies in water field.
Researchers and industry technology providers are highly encouraged to work closely together to build on innovative technology ideas and turn them into actual commercial products. More details on the RFP can be found in the Fact Sheet as attached in Annex A.
