Seeking Technology Partner and Expertise for Traceable Medicine System

Background / Description

Medication compliance is a major problem.  Some patients do not take their medications; others take too much and abuse medications. The WHO estimates 50% of medicines for chronic conditions are not taken as prescribed. This offers the biggest potential improvement in disease outcomes. Drugs with addictive factors or street value pose additional problems since they may be passed to friends, sold on or stock piled. This is a particular issue with pain killers and sedatives.

The company is seeking to co-design with patients and clinicians a laboratory scale evaluation product and demonstrate clinical utility and effectiveness. The company’s core internal expertise in digital and small scale prototype printable electronics, but seeks partners with expertise pharmacy scale medication dispensing access, clinical insights and manufacturing scale up.
