The technology consists of an original industrial process by which natural materials can be turned into products with optional level of hydrophobic and oil adsorbent properties. These products can be developed as powders or granules with varying levels of hardness, water resistance, size, and density for diverse set of applications. Based on raw material products can be further enhanced to inherit additional properties for heavy metal adsorption, gas adsorption, protein adsorption, and more. The technology has 5 different areas of use divided into 3 main categories: 1. Hydrophobic adsorbent granules (adsorbing mainly oil, but also gases, heavy metals, proteins, etc. depending on raw materials) Filtering: Industrial and environmental water purification, Gas capture, Emission control Cleaning: For industrial capillary systems, the focus is mainly on Food industry 2. The hydrophobization of fine powders for building industry 2-300 micron particle size; mainly for Plaster and Cement industry 3. The granulation of waste materials and other materials with fine grains Granulation of fine grain desert sand into larger grain size sand and/or high strength gravel-like fraction for construction purposes Production of large hydrophobic granules out of construction waste to replace natural gravel, pebbles or stone grit in concrete mixtures or for other construction purposes
