Furthermore, the ingredient has been shown to work well with glucosamine and chondroitin in providing a more effective anti-inflammatory complex.

The ingredient is a naturally derived component of milk and its major constituents, lactoferrin and lactoperoxidase along with over 50 other milk defense proteins are all GRAS in various applications. In addition, the company employs a specialised extraction process which excludes potentially allergenic proteins and it does not contain lactose. Studies carried out demonstrate ingestion safety and no adverse effects for topical use.
