The Plasma-Roller is designed to be a handheld device with a roller-like drum, from which the plasma is generated for treatment of a surface. It is envisaged that the Plasma-Roller will be applied a couple of times over the surface to treated. This is to ensure effective and uniform treatment. As the roller-like drum is applied, plasma is induced between the roller and the treated surface. The Plasma-Roller is designed to be battery powered so that it is mobile and gives flexiblity to the end-user. Based on tests carried out, a reduction of 90% of micro-organisms on the treated surface can be achieved (based on application speed of 1cm/s).
