The technology is initially developed to complement the application of electrolyzed water for hygiene management. Electrolyzed water can be used to kill bacteria with no harm inflicted to human body or environment. With the development of a portable microscopic self-checker device, one can observe the effect of electrolyzed water on microbes in real time. This is useful in demonstrating the effectiveness of electrolyzed water and also, to ‘visualize’ the hygiene condition of working sites on the spot.
The technology is in the form of a portable optical microscope that can couple with camera phone to capture real-time microbes and particulates movement in a liquid sample at micro-level (>1 µm range).
The technology provider is open to R&D collaboration to further develop and improve on the analytical aspects of the technology for its wide potential applications.
The technology provider is also open to collaborators in the relevant industries to develop and establish quality standards based on the technology for the various fields of application.
