Challenge Introduction

The National Environment Agency (NEA) and Enterprise Singapore (ESG) have jointly launched an Innovation Call under the Government – Partnership Capability Transformation (Gov-PACT) initiative, to encourage greater use of technology and automation to raise productivity for cleaning, waste management and monitoring of environmental process parameters. The innovation call also seeks to address operational challenges in the industry, as well as to build up the capability and skillsets of workers.

Interested qualifying parties are invited to submit proposals that can address any of the five problem statements under this call:

Cleaning Industry:

A. Interior glass cleaning robots for glass windows in buildings

B. Integrated autonomous hard floor scrubber with security surveillance capabilities

C. Autonomous outdoor conservancy cleaning machine for turfed and non-turfed areas

Waste management Industry

D. Productive, cleaner and cost-effective refuse collection system

Monitoring of environmental process parameters

E. Low cost, non-intrusive solutions to measure steam flow and compressed air pressure
