Dr Maren Schweizer is an accomplished technology executive with 20+ years of comprehensive success and rapid career growth in the Manufacturing, Automotive, Electronics, Aviation, and the Investment Management industries. With a deep technical background in power electronics, chip-embedding, advanced manufacturing and Enterprise AI, predictive data analytics and cybersecurity, Maren is well-known for leading strategically prominent transformation initiatives that propel organisations to peak growth and bottom-line impact. Her passion is driving growth globally, leading people and transforming companies to realise their full potential.
As CEO of multiple organizations, and with over a decade of leadership experience in Asia and Europe, Maren is highly adept in leading large-scale digital and business reorganisations, strategic turnarounds, and new-venture development areas. She has held multiple Executive Board roles for 15+ years in publicly-listed companies in Germany and Japan, more recently as an active Board member of one of the largest Japanese microelectronics businesses with consolidated sales of 95B Yen and 10,000 employees. Maren has also held Group Director roles in corporate entities in multiple countries including China, Vietnam, and Singapore.
Maren spent 12 years at Schweizer Electronic AG and a decade as CEO. There, she developed strategies to grow the business through being patented early adopters of New Energy Vehicles, Connected Autonomous Vehicles, and other recent technologies. She implemented a next generation product launch for chip embedding with co-development partner Infineon Technologies, developing the partnership into an equity participation.
She has contributed as a member of the Main Board and Financial Committee to the ZVEI, Germany’s Electro and Digital Industry Association. Maren serves on nine Governance and Advisory Boards around the globe, such as of HDI Global SE, a leading insurer for industrial and commercial clients in 150 countries.
Maren is a highly strategic, astute, and empathetic leader with a strong commitment to inspire connection and deliver value. She is also an executive proponent of employee mentoring and training to instil company culture, translate values into action, and apply best practices for effective change management.
