Reporting to the Head of Energy & Environment, you will be responsible for the following:

Job Responsibilities:
  • Work closely with technology managers to perform a comprehensive technology source and identify suitable solutions for companies’ technology needs
  • Provide technology and market intelligence, analyze data for emerging technology trends and industry needs
  • Perform technology and patent portfolio clustering, conduct technology assessment
Pre-requisites:
  • Degree in Engineering with less than 2 years of working experience
  • Keen interest in technologies and willing to read scientific papers
  • Strong ability to grasp and communicate complex technical concepts with clarity
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel
  • Ability to organize and present data findings well
  • Good communication skills (oral and written)

Reporting to the Head of Digital Platforms, you will be responsible for the following:

Job Responsibilities:
  • Design prototype web pages and mobile applications with specific functions which include:
    • Gather user requirements
    • Create prototype workflows
    • Develop web pages and conduct functionality test on various concepts
    • Troubleshooting and enhancement
  • Create Innovation Challenge Landing Pages using IPI System
    • Set up web-pages for Challenge landing pages using HTML
    • Update website for Challenge landing pages
  • System administration to ensure that systems are running smoothly, enquiries addressed and routed to the relevant parties for follow up
  • Vendor management and IT support services
  • Ad hoc projects such as improving efficiency through the use of technology e.g. Robotic Process Automation
Pre-requisites:
  • Degree in Computer Science or IT related field
  • 1-2 years’ experience building web pages using HTML, JavaScript, CSS
  • 1-2 years’ experience developing web applications using .NET, Java, ASP, PHP, or similar language
  • Experience using Photoshop or GIMP
  • Good organisation and presentation skills
  • Able to analyse data from spreadsheets, eg create charts, pivot tables etc
  • Experience in the use of databases is desirable
