Dane Hudson

Dane Hudson is a seasoned international leader who provides coaching, mentoring and advisory services to CEOs, Founders and C-level leaders through his company, Impactful Leadership Consulting. Since January 2021, he has mentored and advised over 60 Founders and CEOs of start-ups and SMEs in Southeast Asia, and 15 CEOs of significant businesses with revenues between US$150m and US$3b.

Prior to this, Dane had a 20-year track record as an accomplished CEO of large organisations across a range of industries, complemented by six years as a strategic and operational consultant with Booz Allen Hamilton, a top tier management consulting firm.  His most recent prior role was Regional CEO role based in Asia responsible for over 200,000 employees. As an executive with a change bias, he has driven major strategic shifts, operational turnarounds, leadership team restructuring and led mergers, acquisitions and divestments.

Accumulated from his extensive leadership experience, Dane has created a three-pronged approach to mentor and develop founders and CEOs into more impactful leaders.  The three pillars cover being a Disciplined Leadership, Change Agent, and Hands-on Operator.

Dane has a global perspective having lived and worked overseas for close to 20 years with eight years in the US, two years in South Africa, two years in New Zealand and seven years in Asia.  He brings deep Asian experience having worked extensively in Asia since 2002.

Dane has a Bachelor of Engineering from Sydney University and an MBA from Columbia Business School in New York. He completed the Executive Management Program at Stanford Business School, and is a certified director having completed the Australian Institute of Directors Course (GAIDC). An avid learner, he has completed the Hoffman Process, is a certified Management Consultant (PMC) in Singapore, is a certified DiSC facilitator, and earned a post-graduate Diploma in Executive Coaching in the Ashridge Executive Education Program, which is within the Hult International Business School, UK.  Finally, he is a 22-year member of the global CEO organisation, YPO.

Dane has been married for 34 years and has three daughters who are well-progressed in building their own successful professional careers.
