- What IPI Singapore Did
IPI Singapore matched Swipetask with Innovation Advisor Albert Pozo, who provided structured guidance on growth strategy, product innovation, technical architecture, cloud migration, positioning and governance.
- Impact
Swipetask sharpened its 3-year growth roadmap, clarified its value proposition, strengthened its technical stack and improved its readiness for larger global opportunities.
A missed task, a delayed job or a dissatisfied customer can quickly disrupt operations for companies managing teams on the move. Swipetask recognised this challenge early. Founded in 2015, the company set out to help organisations coordinate and motivate workers who spend most of their time away from a traditional desk through its workforce management software.
As its platform expanded across facilities management and service sectors, Swipetask reached a turning point. Enterprise clients required deeper integrations, greater stability and a more advanced roadmap. At the same time, rapid developments in AI, IoT and automation were reshaping client expectations and opening new opportunities.
"Like any start-up, we were deeply focused on daily operations," said founder and CEO Wilddan Rosen. "Thinking more long-term is not easy when you are growing fast. We knew we needed structured guidance to scale with confidence."
After assessing the team’s needs, IPI matched Swipetask with Innovation Advisor Albert Pozo, whose background in product development and technology transformation aligned closely with the company’s ambitions.
Over a 12-month engagement that began in March 2024, Albert worked with Swipetask to strengthen four core areas.
The first was growth strategy. Albert supported Swipetask in prioritising target markets, identifying promising customer segments and exploring partnership channels. This resulted in a structured 3-year roadmap that aligned market focus, product direction and capability development.
The second area was product and technology. Preparing for enterprise-grade demands meant improving the tech stack and planning a major cloud migration. Albert guided the team on product management best practices, feature planning, technical hardening and opportunities to incorporate AI, IoT, robotics and digital twins. These discussions helped Swipetask design a more scalable and innovation-ready architecture.
The third area was market positioning. With increasing competition in workforce management solutions, Swipetask needed to sharpen its value proposition. Working with Albert, the team refined its messaging, clarified its unique strengths and aligned brand and product more tightly with client expectations.
The final area was corporate advisory, which included guidance on governance structures, funding strategies and the role of boards in supporting long-term growth. This helped Swipetask prepare for future investors and expansion opportunities.
Midway through the engagement, Swipetask participated in a global airline technology challenge. Although unexpected, it became a valuable benchmark that pushed the team to apply many of the strategic and product insights gained through the advisory sessions.
"Every meeting with Albert gave us something valuable," said Wilddan. "An insight, a question that challenged us or a clear next step. The experience was extremely positive and transformative for us."
Albert shared a similar reflection.
"Swipetask already had a strong product foundation and a deep understanding of the challenges of managing distributed workforces. What they needed was the strategic structure to scale. Their openness to strengthening their architecture and embracing new capabilities like AI positions them well for global growth."
Today, Swipetask is preparing for controlled global expansion, larger enterprise opportunities and deeper integration of advanced technologies. With stronger foundations and a clearer roadmap, the company is ready to take on more complex challenges and deliver greater value to its clients.
Swipetask's journey with IPI Singapore shows how companies can accelerate growth with the right strategic guidance. Whether you are scaling, refining your product or preparing for new markets, IPI can connect you to the expertise that will move your business forward.
