Eureka Clusters Information Technology European Advancement 4 (ITEA4) Call

Are you a Singapore technology company looking for partners to co-innovate on product development in the area of software innovation? ENTERPRISESG is delighted to participate in ITEA4 2022, which supports ecosystem creation in the domain of software innovation!

The ITEA4 Call is an initiative as part of the Eureka Clusters Programme, which provides Singapore companies the opportunity to collaborate on software innovation projects in domains such as smart mobility, healthcare, smart cities and energy, manufacturing, engineering and safety & security. Successful Singapore companies can receive up to 70% funding support.  

Potential to work with >200 MNCs and corporates through this call. Access partners across European MNCs, government agencies, research institutes, SMEs and universities from 35 participating countries, companies can gain access to the innovative value chain of corporations like Bosch, Philips, and Volvo etc.

Focus Sectors

Applications in the following sectors of software innovation are welcomed:

• Smart cities: To support the management of cities whether in terms of housing, energy, mobility or emergency services.
• Smart health: To propose solutions for a more efficient healthcare chain from drug and therapy design, to hospitals and home care.
• Smart industry: To provide new design, manufacturing, maintenance capabilities and to support an efficient supply chain.
• Smart communities: To offer new means with greater efficiency, more personalised and human touch, with more trust, enabling the development of communities (at work, leisure, politics…).
• Smart mobility: To innovate towards new sustainable transport systems and services with improved efficiency, autonomy and energy consumption.
• Smart energy: To develop green energy sources and energy distribution networks and to improve the energy efficiency for a more sustainable society.
• Smart engineering: To expand our capability to engineer complex systems and software.
• Safety and Security: To increase the resilience of critical systems and to protect against cyber attacks.

Who can apply?

The consortium must comprise at least one Singapore company and one company from another participating country, who are independent from one another. Companies are encouraged to collaborate with a mix of SMEs, large companies, and research performers, subject to each country’s national funding regulations. 

Under this programme, Enterprise Singapore will support up to 70% of the Singapore company’s total qualifying project costs. To qualify for support, the Singapore applicant must fulfil all of the following requirements:

• Be a business entity that is registered and physically present in Singapore;
• ≥ 30% local equity held directly or indirectly by Singaporean(s) / Singapore PR(s), determined by the ultimate individual ownership;
• Be financially able to see a project through to completion.

How can companies apply?

1. Singapore companies will be required to fill up an online preliminary interest form here.
2. Thereafter, you will be advised on the next steps of application should the applicant meet the eligibility requirements.
