Prof Jeff Obbard is an environmental scientist and engineer with more than 20 years of research and consultancy experience in climate change, sustainability & environmental technologies in the region of Southeast Asia, and internationally. Jeff is also a Visiting Professor to the School of Water, Energy & Environment, Cranfield University in the UK. Jeff has held various positions in universities, research institutes and private companies. He spent 17 years at the National University of Singapore, Faculty of Engineering, in positions including Director of the Sustainable Development & Water Alliance, and Research Director at the Tropical Marine Science Institute. He was also a Principal Scientist at A*STAR, Singapore, and the Vice President of Science & Technology on a Royal Dutch Shell Petroleum joint-venture in the USA. In the private sector, he was Director of Environment, Sustainability & Climate Change at Tembusu Asia Consulting in Singapore, and a Senior Scientist in Hong Kong where he managed environmental assessment projects for civil infrastructure developments, as well as environmental technology related to carbon capture, waste-to-energy and biofuels. Jeff is serving as an Expert Reviewer to the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change and was the team leader for the UN Mondialogo Engineering Award for sustainable development. He has provided training throughout ASEAN on aspects of climate change science, mitigation and adaptation.

He leads a dynamic team dedicated to providing strategic and innovative solutions to facilitate health and medical research. A/Prof Tam has over 20 years of experience in the healthcare, health and medical research and research management sector including tertiary teaching hospitals, medical research institutes and universities across Australia. He has a wealth of experience in the management and conducting of clinical trials for pharmaceutical drugs, medical devices and digital health. A/Prof Tam serves as non-executive director on various NFP, healthcare and aged care boards providing his broad range of expertise including strategy, governance, and sector specific in health and medical research. Dr Eujin Pei is Director, Postgraduate Research and Director, BSc Product Design Engineering Programme at Brunel University London, UK. He is a Chartered Engineer (CEng) and a Chartered Technological Product Designer (CTPD). With his expertise in Product Development and Additive Manufacturing (3D Printing), he has completed commercial projects involving Computer-Aided-Design, Reverse Engineering, Market Research and Product Evaluation. He has a keen interest in Human Factors and Usability, ensuring that products and services are inclusive, fit for use, and that the user experience is fulfilled. He is Chair for the British Standards Institute AMT/8 Committee for Additive Manufacturing and UK Head of Delegate for ISO/TC261. He is Convenor for ISO/TC261/WG4 for Additive Manufacturing in Data and Design and ISO/TC261/JG67 for Functionally Graded Additive Manufacturing. He is the Editor-in-Chief for the Progress in Additive Manufacturing Journal, and active in Knowledge Transfer Partnership programmes that enable universities and companies to collaborate and transfer knowledge. As a Product Design Engineer during the early days of his career, he developed solutions for companies including Motorola, LM Ericsson, Sennheiser and Rentokil Initial. He has published over 80 papers in leading journals and international conferences. His projects have been exhibited at the Cooper Hewitt, Smithsonian Design Museum in New York, as well as in the Panasonic Centre in Tokyo.

Mike wrote the European Business Sourcebook, Foreign Direct Investments in East and West Europe for International Thomson (now Thomson Reuters) in the UK. He was a Clean Development Mechanism (CDM) Expert to United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC) Executive Board in Bonn. Mike has worked for Burns Roe Worley, RW Beck and Parsons Brinkerhoff (now WSP) in Singapore, Scott Wilson (now AECOM) in Hong Kong, CPCS in Nigeria, Shell in Malaysia, and YTL Power in Lebanon. Mike is currently involved in project origination, private equity and private debt fund structuring for clean and renewable energy and infrastructure projects. Mike obtained his MBA in International Business and Finance from Cass Business School, PhD in Engineering from Imperial College London, MSc in Environmental Pollution Control and BSc in Energy from University of Leeds.

Evelina Gagarin is a seasoned food scientist with over 20 years of aggregate experience in food science and technology, scientific research, mentoring/teaching, food safety, regulation and assurance. She graduated with a Masters of Science in Food Science, with a major in Food Processing and a minor in Human Nutrition; as well as a Bachelor of Science in Food Technology, with a major in Dairy Technology and a minor in Meat Processing, both from the University of the Philippines at Los Banos. Evelina held the position of a Product Development Manager in Food Empire Holdings, where she set up the product development laboratory, developed and managed innovations in the new product development for beverages and also frozen foods. She also conducted panelist training and led roundtable discussions on coffee and tea evaluation. She started the innovation of fried and baked snack food as well as non-dairy creamer from pilot plant trials to the manufacturing level. As the primary Food Scientist in Performance Labs, Evelina developed and launched several nutritious powdered food and beverages such as health supplements; improved existing formula to suit the Asian palate; drafted and finalised protocols for clinical studies and/or sensory evaluation. She also tested the efficacies of functional ingredients on product formula, and drafted scientific write ups for new product ideation.

Chan Joy Seng is the Director and Accredited Nutritionist of Alive Nutrition Consultancy. He holds a Masters of Medical Science in Human Nutrition from the University of Sheffield in UK and a Bachelor of Applied Science in Food Science and Technology from the National University of Singapore. He is an Accredited Nutritionist of Singapore with the Singapore Nutrition & Dietetics Association, as well as member of Singapore Institute of Food Science & Technology and Society of Behavioural Health Singapore. Joy Seng began his career in the food industry with various food companies including Malaysia Dairy Industries and Addiction Pet Foods. His job scope included product development and formulation of nutritional content of food products, allowing him understand the perspective of food manufacturers and what consumers are concerned about in their food products. As a nutritionist, Joy Seng has conducted many nutrition and health talks as well as other programmes for Health Promotion Board (HPB), companies, community groups and the public. He also provides corporate nutrition consultancy services, which covers regulatory affairs of the food industry and nutrient tabulation and development of healthier food items. Joy Seng is involved in the training of nutrition and health topics. He is now teaching a course on Healthy Eating for Children at Republic Polytechnic and another course on Nutrition for Older Adults at Nanyang Technological University.
Dr Terence Goh

Dr Terence Goh has more than two decades of experience in large scale on-grid solar farms, microgrids and energy storage. He was instrumental in securing a project related to grid-scale Energy Storage System for a Singapore-based solar energy solutions provider. He has led and delivered several Lender's Engineering (bankability) studies on large scale solar projects in Asia Pacific. Dr Goh was previously DNV GL's Regional Head, Energy Storage for Asia Pacific. He specialises in energy management systems (EMS) design. In a recent project, Dr Goh represents Nippon Koei to develop a marinised energy storage systems solutions and IIoT-based smart grid solutions for offshore environment. He has also embarked on several smart city projects in Thailand, Vietnam and Indonesia. Previously, he was involved in Tianjin Eco-City project in China, where he had helped to set up the Keppel Technology Centre. He had also contributed in setting up the ST-NTU Intelligent System Centre and ST Engineering's Energy & Power Centre. Dr Goh is a thought leader in renewables and energy storage systems and had been invited as a keynote speaker in several international conferences. Dr Goh obtained his PhD in Artificial Intelligence from Imperial College London and MSc in Computer Science from the Manchester University. He also received the Certification in IT Project Management (CIPTM) from Singapore Computer Society. He currently serves as an Adjunct Professor in NUS and an Adjunct Associate Faculty at SIT.

Dr Olivier Lefebvre is Assistant Professor in the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering at National University of Singapore (NUS). He specialises in electrochemical technologies, advanced oxidation processes, industrial wastewater treatment, water reuse and technology transfer. He is also Adjunct Professor at the Research Institute of Mines and Environment of the University of Quebec in Abitibi-Témiscamingue (UQAT) and a management committee member of the specialist group on water reuse, within the International Water Association. He has helped many companies in the pharmaceutical and semiconductor industry deal with hard to treat industrial wastewaters. An agronomic engineer by formation, Olivier obtained his PhD from Supagro Montpellier in 2005, on a collaborative work between Narbonne Laboratory of the French National Research Institute for Agricultural Research (INRA) and Anna University in Chennai, India.
