Dr Terence Goh

Dr Terence Goh has more than two decades of experience in large scale on-grid solar farms, microgrids and energy storage. He was instrumental in securing a project related to grid-scale Energy Storage System for a Singapore-based solar energy solutions provider. He has led and delivered several Lender's Engineering (bankability) studies on large scale solar projects in Asia Pacific. Dr Goh was previously DNV GL's Regional Head, Energy Storage for Asia Pacific. He specialises in energy management systems (EMS) design. In a recent project, Dr Goh represents Nippon Koei to develop a marinised energy storage systems solutions and IIoT-based smart grid solutions for offshore environment. He has also embarked on several smart city projects in Thailand, Vietnam and Indonesia. Previously, he was involved in Tianjin Eco-City project in China, where he had helped to set up the Keppel Technology Centre. He had also contributed in setting up the ST-NTU Intelligent System Centre and ST Engineering's Energy & Power Centre. Dr Goh is a thought leader in renewables and energy storage systems and had been invited as a keynote speaker in several international conferences. Dr Goh obtained his PhD in Artificial Intelligence from Imperial College London and MSc in Computer Science from the Manchester University. He also received the Certification in IT Project Management (CIPTM) from Singapore Computer Society. He currently serves as an Adjunct Professor in NUS and an Adjunct Associate Faculty at SIT.
Dr Olivier Lefebvre

Dr Olivier Lefebvre is Assistant Professor in the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering at National University of Singapore (NUS). He specialises in electrochemical technologies, advanced oxidation processes, industrial wastewater treatment, water reuse and technology transfer. He is also Adjunct Professor at the Research Institute of Mines and Environment of the University of Quebec in Abitibi-Témiscamingue (UQAT) and a management committee member of the specialist group on water reuse, within the International Water Association. He has helped many companies in the pharmaceutical and semiconductor industry deal with hard to treat industrial wastewaters. An agronomic engineer by formation, Olivier obtained his PhD from Supagro Montpellier in 2005, on a collaborative work between Narbonne Laboratory of the French National Research Institute for Agricultural Research (INRA) and Anna University in Chennai, India.
Prof Albert Mihranyan

Prof Albert Mihranyan is Founder and Consultant at Pharmavit, providing consultancy services in R&D, IP and regulatory matters in the areas of life sciences, nanotechnologies, pharmaceutics, and biologics processing. He is also Professor in Nanotechnology and Functional Materials at Uppsala University. With more than 20 years of experience in cellulosic materials and a special interest in biomaterials and polymeric biomaterials, he has extensive expertise in nanofiltration and virus safety of biologics. He is also a serial innovator and entrepreneur, being founder and owner of two start-up companies related to nano-encapsulation technology for drugs and bioactives, and nanocellulose-based filter technology for water filtration. He is author of more than 90 peer-reviewed scientific articles and 11 patent families.
Ross Campbell

Ross Campbell is Director and Co-founder of CyberColloids Ltd. He has more than 40 years of experience in chemicals and food ingredients manufacturing. For the past decade, he has also been working on biotechnology processing and valorisation of waste streams. With his strong industry experiences, Ross is very much driven to ensure commercial success for his R&D and new product development projects. Since its founding in 2002, CyberColloids has become a well-recognised contract research to business development company specialising in polysaccharide and protein chemistry for food texture and nutrition; valorisation of different biomasses (fruit, vegetables, seaweed, etc.); aqueous extractions of bioactives using ceramic cross flow filtration; process scale up and pilot plant studies; and business strategy for new product launches.  Prior to co-founding CyberColloids, Ross has worked for a number of different companies in various roles, including Dow Corning, 3M and Courtaulds, all involving polymers for many industrial applications. He then joined Quest International's Food Ingredient Division (now part of Kerry Group), where he headed the Hydrocolloids Business Unit. Ross Campbell has a joint honours degree in Chemistry and Management Science from Stirling University.

Dr Angie Trius has a demonstrated history of working in the food and beverages industry. With 25 years of experience in this industry, she is skilled in sensory evaluation, food and beverage products, consumer products, food science, and international business. Currently, Angie is Business Director of CyberColloids, a contract food and texture research centre with experts in hydrocolloids and polysaccharide chemistry offering contract R&D in food product development (stability and texture); texture and microscopic analysis; scaling up processes for food ingredients; clean label texture ingredients; and hydrocolloid application and product improvement. Angie previously worked with Quest International as Meat and Meals Technologist, and later moved into roles such as Application Manager Savoury, Hydrocolloids Regional Product Group Manager and Global Culinary Marketing Manager. As an industrially focused specialist, Angie can also develop marketing and application related materials for various food ingredients that aid in the positioning of the product, particularly in a B2B context. Angie is a doctor in Veterinary Medicine and obtained a Master's degree in Food Science and Technology at Iowa State University in 1994.
Prof Ng Wun Jern

Prof Ng Wun Jern is currently a Professor at Nanyang Technology University (NTU) School of Civil & Environmental Engineering and Principal Lead for the Environmental Bio-innovations Group (EBiG). His research and professional interests are in the areas of water, wastewater and waste management, and soil remediation. He is familiar with research, translation and development, and project implementation issues. He has been deeply involved in collaborations with the industry, having channeled his research into some 250 case studies of which 130 led to the design and implementation of full-scale wastewater treatment facilities. In addition to technology licensing and having founded and exited two spin-off companies, he continues to provide technical advice to public listed companies, SMEs, start-ups, and government agencies in the chemicals, food and beverage, marine engineering, water, wastewater and waste domains. Prof Ng also provides support to private equity funds and accelerators to assess projects and start-up companies in terms of founding team capabilities, financial models, technologies, and markets. Prof Ng founded and led the Nanyang Environment & Water Research Institute (NEWRI) for 10 years. Previously, he had also served as Dean, Faculty of Engineering, National University of Singapore and at the College of Engineering, Nanyang Technological University. His research output may be found in some 600 publications - including journal papers and patents.

Additionally, Dr Koh is an Adjunct Faculty at the Singapore Management University (SMU) and Singapore University of Social Sciences where he shares his views and cross-industry experiences on supply chains and operations management. He is also an Expert with the Asian Productivity Organisation (APO) and has been sharing his views on the future economy across Asia and the Pacific. Dr Koh codes, believes in the power of operational analytics and how it shapes business decisions. He holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Robotics from the National University of Singapore and a Bachelor of Engineering (Double 1st) from King's College London.
